Blog Changes- Please Read!

Hello everyone! As I discussed in a recent post, this blog is getting a complete makeover! I will be changing the background, header, and name of my blog!
The order the changes will take place in:

1. Background
2. Name
3. Header

The title and header will pretty much be the same change, as the name will be on the header. The header will not be the same picture as before. I do not have a photo to show you, but I will be taking a photo of all my dolls that will be my new header.

Also, the URL for my blog will not be changing! it may change in the future to match my blog, but until everyone gets used to the visible changes, the URL won't be changing.

If you have any questions at all, please be sure to comment them down below and I will be sure to answer them! The reason I am telling y'all all this is I don't want you to come to my blog and think it's a different blog because it looks completely different from before. So I thought I'd give y'all a little heads up. ;)

I look forward to these changes! Feel free to comment some ideas, and if you read this after some changes have taken place, tell me how you like them!

Going on Vacation- Coming Back Soon!

Hello girlies!
Tomorrow (I have to get up at 4:00 in the morning!) I'm leaving on a plane to go on vacation! I'm so excited! This will be my first time going on a plane, other than when I flew when I was a baby (but of course I don't remember that).
I will be coming back on July 11, but our plane comes in late so I'll probably do a post the next morning.
Where I'm going, they do not have very good wifi, and you can't really do anything on it. Therefore, I won't be online much, if I am at all (which I probably won't). But, I do have some posts scheduled to post while I'm gone, so be sure to read those!
I can't wait to go on my trip, but I will miss reading all your beautiful comments. :) But I'll see them all when I get back! I guess it might be kind of nice to get away form the internet for a while, you know? Just to see what it's like (because I don't even know what the heck I did before I got my tablet!).
Well, I'll talk to you guys when I come back, and be sure to read the posts I've scheduled!
And don't worry, I'll have a bunch of pictures to share when I come back. ;)

Problem with name change... :(

So stupid Google+ doesn't consider "Seastar Studios" a real name, but it considers "Marisa AG" a real name. So, I had to send an appeal to find out if they'll accept the new name. I got a reply. Nope. So, I don't really know how I'm going to change my Google+ name. :(

NAME CHANGE!!!

A name change for my blog, YouTube, and Google+ will take place today! The name will be changed to Seastar Studios.
Also, the YouTube that I set up a few weeks ago (but haven't uploaded any videos yet) will be deleted and I'm going to make one through this Google+ account instead, so it's all connected and easier for me. So if you're subscribed, be sure to subscribe to the new one when it's up!

Name change?

Hey everyone. I have been thinking recently... What would you do if I changed the name of my blog, Google+, and YouTube?
The current name is "Marisa's American Girls" and I feel like it is too long and not very creative.
I would like to change it to something like "SeastarAGs" or something beachy-ish... If you understand what I mean. ;)
So what is your opinion about this? Do you have any name suggestions?

Hello everyone!
Sorry for the long absence, I just wasn't really in the blogging mood I guess. Also, I was really bogged down with projects and homework to do (I still am).
I just wanted to give y'all a quick update that I'm still here. :)
Tomorrow (or today, if you're reading this on Friday) I am leaving to go on a trip to see my family for Easter break. (We got out of school today.)
I hope y'all are having a wonderful spring break and that you have a blessed Easter.

Winner of Outfit of the Week: Week 8 and News

As you can tell, this isn't going to be a normal Outfit of the Week post. It's going to be short and sweet. First of all, here's the winner of Week 8- Juliet XD! Congrats, and great outfit!

Now for the news...

There isn't going to be any more Outfit of the Week. Wait- don't cry yet! This isn't the end of it, it's just a short break. It'll resume again in the spring (March/April) when I can put out the summer clothes. 

The reason I'm not doing it anymore is it takes up too much of my time and there's pretty much the same sets of clothes every time for you to pick out of. This results in similar winning outfits. 

I'm really sorry I had to do this, but it's not the end. (We're not burning. "If this ends in fire, we burn together!" ~Thorin Oakenshield For all you Lord of the Rings fans out there.)

An Apology

Hello, everyone. Haven't talked to you much recently.

I'm really, really sorry I haven't been posting much at all these last two weeks. Some days I haven't had time, while others I just wasn't in the blogging mood. 

*PLEASE* accept my apology. I will try my best to do some more frequent posts in the future.  I have some fun ones coming up... :) 

I did a photoshoot yesterday, but still haven't had time to upload the pictures to my computer and post them. And yes, Outfit of the Week will be coming up, along with some news about it... stay tuned for that tomorrow.

I feel really bad about not posting, I really love my blog, I just don't know what's up these past few weeks.

I guess there's really nothing else I can say. I'll try my best to post tomorrow.

Marisa's American Girls Reader Survey 2014

2013 was a great year for me. As you probably know, I started my blog in July. I gradually gained followers, and got more and more views. To all you followers and readers, thank you so much for making it a great first year!

This year, I know that my amount of followers will increase, so I'd like to set a goal for the amount of followers to get this year. Of course I can't guarantee anything, but I can hope! My goal for followers this year is... 50! It would be great if I got more, but I don't expect it. 

It's a new year- for new improvements on my blog! I'd like to continue to make my blog better- and the only way I can do that is to find out what my readers want. Leave a comment telling me what kind of things you'd like to see on my blog this year. 

And every AG fan knows that every 1st of January brings... a new Girl of the Year! This year it's Isabelle Palmer (which we knew way before she came out). You've seen the multiple posts (How many? Three?) that I've done on her with my opinions and you probably figured that I would get her (I kind of said that, didn't I?). Well, yeah, I am! I can't get her right away, though- I'm buying her with my own money, so I have to save up! I got some money for Christmas, so I'll be putting some of that towards Isabelle. You'll be able to see my savings go up in the side bar- I'll have a section (probably at the top) that will tell you how much I have so far. I might be able to get her as early as May... but we'll see. 

About posts coming up...

I promised a post with the stuff I got for Christmas, so that will be coming up later this week.

Also, I need to do Outfit of the Week for this week since we were in Georgia on Sunday and I didn't have anything for it. That'll be coming too, but it might be next Sunday instead.

Since there's a new doll, of course you must see my opinion of her collection and the doll herself... so there'll be an MDT on Isabelle!

Yeah, since we were in Georgia, of course I have pictures! I'll show you those, too, if you'd like.

Oh, yes! I have 22 followers... so that means... I need to have that contest I promised! Keep an eye out for that!

20 Followers Challenge!

Hello my doll-loving friends!
As some of you may have noticed, my number of followers has been increasing. I suspect this has been from the help of some of you. (Thanks!)
I think that with your help, we could get my number of followers to at least 20 before Christmas. As I'm writing this, I have 12 followers. We could get 8 more before Christmas. (1 each day!) Post about my blog, and advise your other doll-loving friends to visit.
I can't do this without you! It would be great if you would help me here.
You might be wondering, "What's in it for me?" Well, a contest or giveaway of course! The more followers I have, the more people will participate, and the more fun it'll be!
Want to help? That would be great! So, remember the goal- 20 followers before Christmas, December 25! I only need 8 more to do this contest.
Of course, we won't stop at 20 whenever we get there! How do you like the idea of setting a monthly goal? If we reach it, there's a possibility of more giveaways and contests!

Just... computers, dolls, events... UPDATES

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been busy and haven't had much time on a computer and I've had nothing to post about. First of all, I will be getting my own computer soon and when I do, I will post SO MUCH MORE! I will try to post at least two or three times a week, hopefully more. Volleyball season is coming to an end, so I will have more time at night after school. Also, I will have a single computer to save pictures to so I will always have access to all my stuff. Before, I had all my things saved on multiple computers, so now... yeah. Also, this Saturday there is an AG event at my local Barnes and Noble. Check your local B&N's website to see if you do, too! This is what the page says: "Please join us for a special American Girl themed event. Dress up and bring your favorite doll if you like, and join us for fun activities and crafts." I think I will bring Liz because the last time I went to something like this I brought Kanani (I didn't have Liz yet, so of course). I will try to bring my camera so I can take pictures for you, and post them. BIG NEWS!!! I finished editing the Georgia travel vlog! I know it's been a long time, so I will post it as soon as I can. It's 30 minutes long, but it is AWESOME! Keep checking for more! One last thing... IT'S OCTOBER!!! That means it's almost time for... DOLLAWEEN! I need to make a Dollaween AGSM (American Girl Stop Motion), and I need some ideas! Comment yours below and your idea might be turned into a video!
