New Camera?!

Hey y'all!

I got a new camera! Obviously you know that from the title of the post though.

I guess you're wondering what kind I got.

I bought a Canon EOS Rebel T5! (Photo below)

I have been saving for a camera for several months and finally bought this one a few weeks ago! I love it so much.

I haven't taken any dolls photos with it yet but hope to do so soon. However, I have some other photos that I might post on my personal blog.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. You can comment, but emailing would probably get you the quickest reply. My email is marisasamericangirls@gmail.com.

Have a great day!

P.S. Comment any of your DSLR photography tips below!

Thank you Lu!

I'm back for good now, thanks to my good friend Lu! She sent me her Kit doll to tighten her limbs (more on that later) and she also sent me a few things.
I'll be posting slow at first and less than I used to. I'm just so busy.
But anyway, with Lu sending me Kit to fix, I've fallen in love with dolls again. These past few months I've hardly touched my dolls and they've been a bit neglected. But I'm coming back to them and y'all. But now I'll show you what Lu sent me!

She sent it in this cute little goodie bag. And here's the stuff in it!

She sent some cute Hawaiian flower duct tape (Kanani loves it!).

Some chai tea for me (you know me well Lu!).

Some doll pick up sticks and ISN'T THIS JUST SO ADORABLE?! I'm literally dying! It's just like the actual game, with the same amount of colored sticks and everything!

Some doll-sized chocolate (I can eat it and then make the wrappers into doll chocolate bars!).

And last but not least, a key chain!

Thank you so much Lu! You've inspired me to start using my dolls again and I'm so thankful for it. I'll post some pictures and stuff of Kit so y'all can see her adventures here!

Nice to be back,
Marisa <3

BeForever- Part 6- Human Clothes

I love how they made these outfits modern! I'm actually super happy AG added this, it adds a lot to the historical collection! Let's go...

This is a beautiful dress. but please girls, don't wear sneakers with such a fancy dress. I'm not too crazy about the way the headband is placed on her head. But it's up to the girl how they wear it!

This cute, but I'm not crazy about it. I don't like the tights and I'm not crazy about those shoes they paired with it. But I do really love the color of the dress.

This is an adorable outfit! Totally represents a modern version of Kit. I wish my sister could get this, she's look awesome in it! It's too expensive though.

Could I please have this outfit in my size? It's perfect! Especially the shirt, because if you didn't know, I love horses!

This isn't the best outfit... It is a bit much, and looks kind of tacky. Like the shirt, the purple dip-dye and the colorful flowery peace sign don't go well together. And the giant bow belt on the skirt, is way to much. What is even on those leggings?

Beautiful!!! This dress is so adorable, I really wish they made it in my size! I might be able to fit into the 16... but probably not. ;)

I don't really see how this represents Caroline, well kind of, but not really. But I must say, this outfit is very cute. I'd love to wear this!

This dress is a beautiful shade of blue! I love it! It does look a bit short though.

Hope you enjoyed! this is the last post of my BeForever opinion mini-series. Did you enjoy the series? Should I do more like this? Tell me below! And if you missed any of the posts along the way, here they are!

Hope you enjoyed! I had a lot of fun giving my opinion on everything! Back to normal posts soon, I've got a bunch planned!

BeForever- Part 5- Mini Dolls

Sorry I missed a day! I had to do some homework last night, and had volleyball practice, so I ran out of time. But here it is today! Mini dolls...first of all, let me get this straight- they butchered the mini dolls in my opinion. They're definitely not as cute as they used to be. And all vinyl bodies?! No. Just no.

They ruined her. Just look at her face...it's not cute! It's almost creepy in my opinion, and not realistic at all!

Rebecca is one of the best BeForever minis in my opinion. Her hair is beautiful, I wonder if it'll be like that when you get her out of the box. it I were to get a mini, I'd get her.

Aw, poor girl. Little Kit is just... ruined!

This doesn't even look like Kaya. It's a cute doll, but not a very good representation.

I actually really like this new Julie mini. I'd get her, too.

Ughhhhh. This is creepy! Not adorable! This mini does not do beautiful Caroline justice.

I've never been a fan of Addy, so I wouldn't get this mini. She looks better than some other minis though.

So, that's it for minis! Poor Josefina didn't get a mini yet. :( If I was going to get one of these minis, i'd get Julie or Rebecca. What about you?

P.S. Tomorrow is Human Clothes!

BeForever- Part 4- Furniture

Another day has come! And today's item of focus is furniture! So let's get started.

This is cute and all, but totally not worth the price for something you can make mostly yourself.

This is cute I guess, but still, too much pink. I guess it would b good if you're going for a girly girl or princess feel though.

I love this egg chair! it's absolutely adorable, and I love how you can plug in your phone or MP3 player and play your music through the speakers! I'd love to get this someday.

Sorry there wasn't much in this installment, I think I put a lot of the furniture with the accessories. I hope you enjoyed it! Tomorrow is mini dolls, so look forward to that!

BeForever- Part 3- Accessories

Good day, everybody! Today's BeForever thing is accessories, let's get on with it! Enjoy :D

Samantha's accessories are okay... I don't know if I'd get them, I might, but only if I got Samantha too. The purse looks cute, and the headband does too, and I don't have many necklaces for my dolls, either.
Personally, I don't know how a hat is "hairstyling". But I guess it's all in perspective.

This dog is so adorable! He is so fluffy I want to squeeze him to death!

Don't really see the point in this... But I guess it's okay. I wouldn't pay the price for it, though.

I like this bike, I think it's cute. But it's definitely not historically accurate, it looks way too modern.

I guess this set is okay... not for the price, but it's cute.

I'm actually super glad they brought this parasol back. they had it in the NOLA collection, and I really loved it, and now it's back! I'll have to get this sometime.
Not a fan of these... they look too much like Samantha's, especially the purse. But the necklace is very unique.

This set is super cute! The chair is adorable! I'd love to have this someday.

Oh gosh, no. The price... $78 for just this?! That's outrageous...
I really like these accessories! The hat is darling, they didn't change these things too much from Kit's collection!

Yessssss! It's back! My sister had always wanted this for Kit and I think it's adorable. The only thing that's keeping me from buying this is the price... $50!

I'm glad they finally have some hair accessories for Kaya. But I think a feather might be a little more accurate...

I absolutely love the flower headband and the tie-dye purse, but I'm not too crazy about those glasses. :/
Don't really get the point here...

Why are they recreating things from the NOLA collection? Why not just keep the NOLA collection?!

Cute, but I'd never get them.

This is really cute actually! But I don't really think Addy, a former slave, would have such a pretty pail like this. Or the "LOVE" cookie. But who knows.

Wow, the days are going fast! Do you like this mini-series? Should I do more similar to this? Well stay tuned tomorrow for furniture!
