Saint Patrick's Day Hairstyles

Hey girls!!!
Sorry I didn't post this yesterday, I didn't have time! Oh, and happy {late} Saint Patrick's day!
Now onto the post...
Here are some hairstyles that your dolls could wear on Saint Patty's day that (I think) would look a bit "Irish"... (Any of my Irish doll lovers out there please verify this... LU)
Okay! Let's get started!!!

Liz is my model here today. :D

1. Wear an orange highlight! Lots of Irish have red hair! So brighten up your brown with a bit of orange! (Haha)

2. Mini Braids Pulled to the back-  All I did for this was make really tiny braids on each side of her head, pull them to the back, and clip with a mini clip!

3. Side Braids- Sorry the picture is a bit blurry. Anyways, this is just the typical two braids on the side. It is really simple, but brighten them up with a green highlight or ribbon!

4. Half-Up Bun- This my absolute favorite! To do this, all you have to do is make a half-up, half-down ponytail, then make a bun! Really simple, yet so fancy!

Curly-haired Mosi

Mosi got her hair curled! After I did Kanani's I decided to try it on her hair. After I left the curlers in for about a day, this is what it turned out to be like.

Super curly!!! I wasn't too crazy about those ringlets, so I kind of brushed them out, so it was more wavy, but not as wavy as her hair was before I curled it.

See? Not as curly. :) I brushed it out even more for the photoshoot I did with her the other day.

Fun Hairstyles

Hello, girls! Last night my friend and I had a sleepover, and we did pure dolls' hair. My friend has #27 (Leanna), #25 (Alison) and Rebecca. I brought Kanani and Liz over to her house. Look below for a picture! Sorry this was so short, I don't have a computer here, only the Blogger app on my tablet.

How to do a Fishtail Braid

Hello, girls! Today I'll be showing you how to do a stylish fishtail braid. Good luck!

Brush your doll's hair out so it is smooth and free of tangles. If it has tangles, her hair will be a giant mess if you try this hairstyle. (Trust me, I know from experience.)

Separate your doll's hair into two equal sections. 

Take a small section of hair from the front of Section 1. Make it smaller if you don't mind that the braid will take longer to do and you want it to look more intricate or take a larger piece if you'd like it to take less time. (It looks great either way.)

Cross it over to Section 2, where it will stay.

Now take a piece (the same size) from the front of Section 2.

Cross it over to Section 1, where it will stay.

Repeat these steps until there's no hair left to braid.

Bring the two ends together,

and secure it with a hair tie.

Ta- da! You've done a fishtail braid!

Hairstyles for Dolls with Short Hair

I thought I'd do some hairstyles, since they're the second most wanted thing on my poll. My sister graciously let me borrow Kit for some hairstyles for you guys out there with short-haired dolls. I did a bunch of cute hairstyles. 

Here's Kit- ready to try a few hairstyles! 

Small Side Pony- This hairstyle is very simple but cute. This everyday hairstyle will keep your doll's hair out of her face but still keep it neat.

Two Small Side Ponies- For a fun, playful hairstyle, do this! I personally think this hairstyle is adorable on Kit.

Two Side Ponytails- A classic hairstyle, Kit looks adorable! 

Ponytail with Hair in Front- Don't see this too much on Kit, do you? It's pretty difficult to get her hair in a ponytail, but when you do, Kit looks very grown- up.

Two Braids on Side Joined on Bottom- This is very easy to do and very unique. Kit really likes to wear this hairstyle on days when she wants to look a bit nicer than most days.

Side French Braid- A more difficult hairstyle, Kit wears this when she has more time to do her hair in the morning. She wears it when she cleans the house; it keeps the hair out of her face without looking messy, but rather the opposite!

 Messy Side Braids- Since Kit's hair is so short, she can only have small side braids and making them messy makes them look cool.

Personally, Kit's favorite hairstyle is the Small Side Pony. She likes how simple and easy it is to do. She can put a cute flower, barrette, or ribbon on top of the ponytail holder to make it look more fashionable.

Braided Bedtime Buns Hairstyle

So, for today's post, I thought I'd show you how to do a hairstyle.

To do this hairstyle, you need:

• Doll hair brush
• Water in a spray bottle
• 4 ponytail holders

First, spray your doll's hair to keep down flyaways. 

Then, brush all the tangles out.

After that, you'll want to separate your doll's hair into two equal sections.

Tie each one off with a ponytail holder.

Braid the hair on each side. 

Wrap the braid around the ponytail, making a bun.

Secure with a ponytail holder. 

Repeat on the other side.

Ta- da! How does it look?

Your doll can do this hairstyle before she goes to bed. She can sleep looking stylish (without any pain). If she sleeps on her back, there won't be any huge bumps behind her head. If she sleeps on her side, there also won't be any bumps on the side. And, if she sleeps on her stomach, she won't have any trouble with her hair falling over her shoulders and getting in her way. It's convenient and stylish!
