Review of Madeline Hatter (EAH Doll)

Hello everyone! Sorry for not posting for a while.
This post is going to be a review of Madeline Hatter. But of course you already knew that, because you most likely read the title before clicking on it.

Here she is!

Her face

Spoon earrings :D

Teacup headband

Hair... awesomely awesome! (Though not recommended for younger children)

Necklace

Dress <3

Polka dot tights!!!

And I thought Saige's ring was small and hard to lose... look at that thing! It comes off too! XP

Tea kettle purse thing. The top comes off. Sadly, a few days after these photos were taken, my dog got a hold of this and chewed it up... :( At least it wasn't the doll...stay optimistic!

Thanks for reading! Would you like to see more of Maddie?

Opening Ever After High doll- Madeline Hatter

Hello girls! Today I have a surprise- Ever After High doll Madeline Hatter! I have wanted her for a while, an got her on sale for $15.95 at K-Mart! Plus, she was the last one in the store-and the store is closing-so I got really lucky! now onto the opening...

In her box

Side of the box- like a book!

Back of the box

There are tabs that you have to pull out on all sides of the box to get the plastic covering off.

Plastic is off! :D

Hidden inside the box is a stand for the doll (more on that later)

Time to get out the scissors! (I was careful, so miss Maddie wasn't hurt.) ;)

She's out!!! Yay!

The brush...

Will NOT be using that on her hair. Bad bad bad!

I mean, have you seen that hair? CRAZY!!! But I love it. <3

The stand not put together yet.

And another beautiful picture. :)

Bookmark attached to the box- almost missed it!

Bye!!! You will definitely be seeing more of Madeline! I have got some posts planned- stay tuned for the next few days!
Do you like Madeline Hatter? Do you like Ever After High? Do you have any EAH dolls? What is your favorite EAH doll?

Saint Patrick's Day Hairstyles

Hey girls!!!
Sorry I didn't post this yesterday, I didn't have time! Oh, and happy {late} Saint Patrick's day!
Now onto the post...
Here are some hairstyles that your dolls could wear on Saint Patty's day that (I think) would look a bit "Irish"... (Any of my Irish doll lovers out there please verify this... LU)
Okay! Let's get started!!!

Liz is my model here today. :D

1. Wear an orange highlight! Lots of Irish have red hair! So brighten up your brown with a bit of orange! (Haha)

2. Mini Braids Pulled to the back-  All I did for this was make really tiny braids on each side of her head, pull them to the back, and clip with a mini clip!

3. Side Braids- Sorry the picture is a bit blurry. Anyways, this is just the typical two braids on the side. It is really simple, but brighten them up with a green highlight or ribbon!

4. Half-Up Bun- This my absolute favorite! To do this, all you have to do is make a half-up, half-down ponytail, then make a bun! Really simple, yet so fancy!

Bye!!! Hope you enjoyed, and sorry for the lack of posts this week!

P.S. Look forward to a fun surprise tomorrow!!!

100th post!

I just posted my 100th post!!!! WOW! I can't believe I have so many on here!
Thank you everyone who has followed my blog and has given me ideas for many of these posts. I am forever grateful to you!
I wonder how many more posts I will publish this year! Let's see!
Thank you so much everyone!!!!!

Love,
Marisa and her American Girls

Liebster Award

Thank you Claire for nominating me for the Liebster Award!

Now I must answer these questions!

1. Do you prefer reading an actual paper book or a book on a device?
I love them both, but I prefer on paper because you can take it everywhere with you.

2. Do you prefer baking cupcakes or eating them?
Eating them!!! (I actually have never made cupcakes...kinda sad, huh?)

3. Do you prefer doing someone else's hair or yourself?
Ooooooh, I am such a hair person! I love doing both! I just can't decide!

4. Winter or Summer?
Totally Summer, I can't stand the cold!!!

5. Spring or Fall?
Spring, I just love how it is so pretty with flowers blooming and the weather is just perfect.

6. Nature or electronics?
Tough... both are wonderful. Both are essential to my life because I take photos of my dolls in nature, and use electronics to share them with the world. But I probably love nature more.

7. Lengthy books or short books?
Lengthy, you gotta love Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings!

8. Spiders or bugs?
Oh, definitely bugs! I can't stand spiders, they creepy me out so much!!! I have arachnophobia! (I think...)

9. Chocolate or vanilla ice cream?
CHOCOLATE

10. Swimming or Ice skating?
Definitely swimming, I am a failure at ice skating!

11. Making money or spending it?
Spending. Haha!

Now I will nominate 11 people to receive this award.

Christina from Simply Dollightful

The Spicys from Doll Delight

Clarisse from Clarisse's Closet

Bella and Lulu from Doll Mag

Nora and Maple from The Doll Wardrobe

Melody and Xyra from Tea Time with Melody Q

To all those nominated here, congratulations! Do the same thing I did here. And listed below are the questions you are to answer on your blog.
  1. When did you start blogging?
  2. What made you want to start a blog?
  3. What is your favorite doll?
  4. What doll do you want next?
  5. What doll should AG make next? (Like traits of a doll that you'd like, hair color/length, eyes, face mold, etc.)
  6. How many blogs do you currently contribute to?
  7. Do you plan to start any more blogs?
  8. Where is your favorite place to photograph your dolls?
  9. How good do you think you are at taking doll photos? Why?
  10. Will you ever "grow out of" dolls? Why/ why not?
  11. Do you prefer Historicals, My American Girls, or Girl of the Year dolls?
Now nominate 11 people to receive this award, and write a list of 11 questions for them to answer on their blogs.
Please know that the list of people nominated was in no particular order. Also, please understand that if your blog is not up there, it does not mean that your blog is not good. I follow over 30 blogs, so of course I couldn't list all of them.

Have fun discovering more blogs for you to follow! :)

Beach Beauty: A Photoshoot

This morning I got up early (the usual 7:00), which is normal time for me. We were staying at my grandmother's house, who lives really close to the beach, so close you can see it from her house.
As I was saying, I got up, got ready, and took Liz down to the beach for the first time! She's never been to the beach before, (Kanani has) so i thought it would be nice to do that. The sunrise was beautiful and gave me the perfect lighting.
Enjoy the photos! :) (Click on them to make them bigger.)

Hope you enjoyed them! I had a lot of fun taking the pictures, and luckily there weren't many people on the beach, so I didn't get too many stares. (It was 8:00 in the morning, sooooo).

Bye for now!
