I had decided it was time for a new doll, and I was trying to decide which one I wanted. Then on Google+, I saw a photo of a woman with blue ombre hair. I thought that was super cool, and asked my friend Juliet from Chestnut Street if she had any ideas on how to make a doll like that. she told me to check Etsy for wigs. Sure enough, there was a blue wig that I liked! The only problem was, I didn't have a doll to wear the wig. So I kept checking Ebay every day, and one day, I finally found a doll I liked who was a good price and could easily be fixed. This was a used Pre-Mattel JLY #25. So I bought the wig and the doll. The total for both of those was $85- $65 for the doll and $20 for the wig. So when both things came, I set to work! More on that later... now for the finished doll!
And in case you didn't remember from reading the title, her name is Bristol. Her personality:
Bristol is a funky teenage girl who loves to draw, paint, or do any type of art in general. Her blue hair was inspired by her love of art, and though it may seem different from everyone else, it's who she is and she loves it!
Yes, I know the blue hair is a little out-there, but I like it!
I'm so happy to have a new addition to my doll family- she'll add a bit of spunk to my collection!

Oh my gosh Marissa! She is SOOOO cute! Congrats...I might have to get a wig like that for my doll that has a wig that I didn't glue on...it was tight enough, but I liked the idea of being able to change it.
