Fixing Josefina's Hair

In case some of you new followers didn't know, my sister has Josefina. Since Josefina's hair wasn't really nice anymore and was easily fixable, I decided to do just that!

Before:

See that hair? Not the worst, but definitely not the best. And it was kinda dry too... especially the ends.

And there were some marks on her legs. They're kind of hard to see here.

Solution to hair problem: Wash her hair!

All WET. But it smelled good- I used baby shampoo! (That's the kind you're supposed to use on AG dolls if you wash their hair.)

Hair up in a towel waiting for it to dry a little.

Meanwhile, I took off the stains with a magic eraser! Just don't use these on their faces, it takes off the paint. (Like my sneaker nails? My cousin did them.) ;)

In the salon chair! ready for...

Hair straightening! Please DO NOT do this unless you know how to do it! It can ruin your doll's hair!

And this is after! HUGE difference!

I think it looks great!

Did this help you fix up your doll?

    1. Haha! I could, but you'd have to send your doll to me. :) If you'd really like me to fix her up, I'd love to!

  6. Wow! What amazing results! Josie is so so so cute! I tried to do this on Molly, but it didn't make a difference. Well, once again, her hair was VERY terrible. :)

  7. How do you wash it? I would love to fix livvie up a little. Whenever I brush her hair a lot of it falls out and gets all over me what can I do to help that? I use a comb and a water spritzer when i brush it. Thanks! :)

    1. I washed it with Johnson&Johnson baby shampoo. It is the best for their hair, and has nothing that could dry out their hair, make it oily, etc. Just make sure not to get the head wet and don't get any water in their eyes.

  8. Great makeover! I have always been wanting to do this to Kanani, but I'm too scared to damage her. Maybe I will try this soon!
