Monthly Doll Finds: February

It's time again for another Monthly Doll Finds! Let's cut right to the chase! ;)

This is a highlight I got for Kanani at Kmart on sale for $1. It was a little long, so I cut it. 

You might remember, she used to have a light blue one in. But I took it out and replaced it with this.

This is a lunchbox I made from a tutorial on Doll Diaries..

You probably remember this craft! This is another lunchbox I made with a tin and duct tape.

This is  little jar that I think marmalade came in... Ah, well. It's great for doll candies!

As you might be able to see, this is a tin that had loose tea in it. my dad finished it and let me have the tin. (Thanks!) ;)

Up close...

As some of you may know, my doll Liz wears glasses... and she needed some croakies! So my mom gave m these for no apparent reason except that she didn't need them, so I tried them on Liz's glasses and they fit! I tied a knot in the back to shorten them and voila! (You will see them in a post coming up.) ;)

Monthly Doll Finds: January!

Well, new year, new items! I've got some fun ones for this month's edition of Monthly Doll Finds.

Isn't this awesome?!?! I found this adorable doll-sized guitar at Kmart today in the Christmas section. It was originally a Christmas tree ornament, but it was easy to remove the string and VIOLA! All the Christmas stuff was 70% off, so I got this for $1.50!!! I just love it!

Here's a better picture of it. The detailing on it is great, just perfect for a stopmotion! I'm already thinking of some ideas... MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Sorry, it's kind of hard to see this. My mom bought some Chapstick and it came in this cute container. I think I could use it for anything for dolls, like cover it with wrapping paper and use it for a box of candy or something. Comment below some ideas!!!

BLING! Like my bling box? I got it from my Secret Santa when we did it at school. I think I'll use it for doll hair accessories or something like that. You can never go wrong with boxes!

Monthly Doll Finds: December

Hello, everyone! Time for another Monthly Doll Finds! I know it's kind of late (I'm supposed to do these at the beginning of the month), but I didn't have time and I couldn't think of anything.
Onto the items...

1. Today, we were at a local thrift shop and I saw this doll- sized stocking. It was only 50 cents! It's kind to hard to tell, but it's actually dark blue.

2. You may have remembered these from my Thanksgiving post. I made these out of clay for my dolls' Thanksgiving dinner.


Well, that's it for this month's doll finds. Sorry, I wish I had more, but I didn't have any spending money these past few months because I had to save up to buy everyone's Christmas presents. Next month I should have more, though, because I might get some things for Christmas!

Doll Finds: November (NOT!)

So, this post is going to be short. As the post title says, this is NOT Doll Finds: November BECAUSE I have no doll finds this month! That sucks, right? Well, unless you count the props I made for my Dolloween video (sorry I haven't done that yet!) and I'm not giving away anything about the storyline. :P So right now I am a CoNfUsEd blogger here 'cause I have absolutely no idea what to post about! Unless you count that I am getting into photography and planning to improve mine... and yeah, you might say my photos on my blog SUCK but that's 'cause they've been taken with a webcam 'cause I've had no time to take actual pictures with my good camera, upload them, post them, yada yada yada...
Geez, I like ranting, don't I? Yeah I know that, all my friends tell me I do. Well, I guess that's it for now. Any ideas for new posts? Because I need them! Unless you want to see all my doll food or something. Blah. Well, comment and follow me if you haven't already.

Monthly Doll Finds: October

At the beginning of each month, I am going to make a post called Monthly Doll Finds. It will include all the doll- sized things that I have found and/or made. This is the first one, October! With no further ado, here are my monthly doll finds for October...

I made this mini paintbrush by cutting a normal one to the length I wanted and smoothing the edge out with a nail file.

I put his highlight in Kanani's hair. I bought it at Claire's a few months ago and decided to put it in Kanani's hair. I just connected it to a bottom layer of hair and curled her hair with the highlight to curl it.

I made these marshmallows out of packing peanuts. I cut curved ones and put them in mini plastic bags. I drew on pieces of paper that I taped onto the bag to make labels.

My mom found these at Target and thought they were the perfect size for our dolls and bought them for me. 

I made this bracelet to look like the ones people make with the Rainbow Loom. I don't have the Rainbow Loom, though, because I know how to make them without the loom.

One of my friends let me have this mini card pack that she got at Walmart. She doesn't know I have dolls, but I thought it was cute and she let me have it. So now I don't have to buy one of the Uno or Apples-to-Apples mini card packs that they sell at Dollar General!
