Summer Beauty: A Photoshoot

Today I decided it was beautiful enough to go outside and do a photoshoot. I think Liz looks absolutely gorgeous in these photos, I believe it may be one of my best photoshoots. Enjoy! (By the way, I noticed after I uploaded these to my computer, that there was apparently a smudge on my camera lens when I took these photos. Whoops!)

Liz's dress almost looks blue in this picture!
I love this picture, it almost looks like the flower is glowing!
Out of focus. Sorry guys.

This is my favorite picture out of this photoshoot! Liz looks so smart and sophisticated.

Not my best photo ever. :(

I hope you enjoyed this photoshoot! I like how most of the pictures turned out. The smudge on the camera lens really annoys me in some of the pictures, but doesn't look too bad in others.

What is your favorite picture in this photoshoot? Tell me below in the comments.

I am entering this photoshoot in Ellie's contest from Little Dollhouse on the Prairie. Go check out her blog! It's great.

Lots of love,
Marisa

Beach Beauty: A Photoshoot

This morning I got up early (the usual 7:00), which is normal time for me. We were staying at my grandmother's house, who lives really close to the beach, so close you can see it from her house.
As I was saying, I got up, got ready, and took Liz down to the beach for the first time! She's never been to the beach before, (Kanani has) so i thought it would be nice to do that. The sunrise was beautiful and gave me the perfect lighting.
Enjoy the photos! :) (Click on them to make them bigger.)

Hope you enjoyed them! I had a lot of fun taking the pictures, and luckily there weren't many people on the beach, so I didn't get too many stares. (It was 8:00 in the morning, sooooo).

Bye for now!

Yoga with Liz- Part 2

Hey girls! I'm back, for Part 2 of Yoga with Liz! If you missed Part 1, click here. Time to get started!

Well, I'm outside now. Last time you saw me I was inside! Hehe! ;)

Time to find a nice spot and set out my yoga mat! This place looks nice.

This is going to be fun! Let's get started...

I guess I'll start by sitting down here. Now lean forward as much as you can! Leeeeeeeaaaaaaannnnn

Lean to the right.....

Now to the left.....

Now I'm going to lean forward and touch my toes! It's hard, but I think I've got it!
Phew! That was hard! Now let's try an easier stretch...

Now this is easier!

Let's try this... lift one leg,

Cross it over.

Lift other leg...

Cross it over. Now that wasn't too hard was it? ;) It tests your balance!

Now I will stretch this...

Well I guess that's it for now! I hope to do this again someday with you guys! It was fun!

Bye now! Hope you had fun!Comment down below if you'd like to do this again sometime!

Yoga with Liz: Part 1

Hello, Liz here! I'm doing this post for Marisa today! I'm going to be doing some yoga with y'all today! I just started yoga, so if some poses aren't exactly right, don't blame me! ;)
Let's get started!

First, you're going to need a comfortable outfit. Not too loose though, so it isn't baggy and hanging down when you do your stretches.

I'm wearing a t-shirt and some Spandex shorts, the ones I wear for volleyball. They are sooooooo comfortable.

Also, you don't need any shoes. They will just get in your way and make everything harder.

Oh, and definitely don't forget to put your hair up! It gets really annoying if your hair is down! (Trust me, on my first day of yoga class my hair was down- a horrible mistake!)

There we go, that's better. A high ponytail is a great hairstyle, and sporty, too. You can do more with it, like adding braids and such, but today I don't feel the need to do that. Maybe next time!

And of course I need my glasses! I am literally as blind as a bat, I don't know how I could live without them! I have some croakies, too. They help so my glasses don't fall off when I am moving and doing all those stretches!

And how can you do yoga without your yoga mat? Mine is green with purple handles, I just love it! Now time to get started with some stretches!
Stay tuned tomorrow for Part 2! We'll really get some sweat going! Haha.. not really! ;)
Bye for now!

~Liz (and Marisa, she helped me write this post! Hehe) ;)
