New AG Items and My Opinion: Part 3

Hey there! Here's Part 3 to my 3-part post with all the new AG items! Before we get started, be sure to read Part 1 and 2 from yesterday and the day before!

This Bouquet Bed and Bedding is cute and all, I really like the bed style, but the price- $213?! Yeah no. My dad can make one of these for me if I really want it that bad. (He made another doll bed for me based on Julie's bed. Thanks Dad!)

Gosh, this Bouquet Nightstand is horrible. Have you seen the price?! You can get a human nightstand for the same price! Plus, we can just use a jewelry box as a nightstand and it is a lot less expensive.

This Dining Table is cute and all, but nothing special. I do really like the chair covers, though.

I know this part of my 3-part post was a little short, but there wasn't much furniture for me to post about. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my 3-part post, I like giving my opinion of these items, even though AG will never read this and even if they do, they won't listen to my opinions and advice.

Did you enjoy this 3-part post? What was your favorite set? Did you agree/disagree with anything I said? Tell me below in the comments!

New AG Items and My Opinion: Part 2

Hey there! I see you're back for Part 2 today! If you didn't read Part 1 yet, be sure to go check it out before you read this!

Hmmm... Isabelle's Makeup Set... this is cute I guess... but it really only teaches girls to paint their faces over and cover up their beautiful natural features. Yeah, I get that Isabelle has to wear makeup for dance, but... I still don't like this set.

The Sunset Sleepover Bag isn't anything special. I don't like the colors, and heck, the suns look like pizzas.

I love the Jewel Highlights Set! I have the Bright Highlights Set, and I think these would be a great addition to my highlight collection.

Really? Accent Braid Clips? Are these really needed? Just braid your doll's hair...

This Doodle Backpack Set is perfect for back-to-school! I love all the colors. I'd love to get this set sometime.

These Trail Accessories aren't anything special. It looks too much like something from Saige's collection. It's nice and all, but I could probably make everything.

The Sunset Sleepover Tent is okay, I'm not crazy about it, though. I could get one for less money ($85? Seriously AG?) that comes with more things from Our Generation at Target.

Once again, this Camp Treats Set isn't anything special. I could make all the food with clay, and get the rest somewhere else for a lot cheaper.

Sure, this Aqua Earring Tree is nice, but I know how to make them.

This Wrap Watch is nice, but I don't have a need for it. I do like this better than their other watches though.

I'm not sure if I like this Violet Heart Watch. It it was a real watch, I think it'd be hard to read, don't you think? And the colors are too girly for me.

These Pets Earrings are cute, but I liked AG's other pet earrings set better. What about you?

I love this Doodle Earrings set! They're so cute- especially the bows! I'm totally getting this set.

I'm glad they came out with this 3-in-1 Ring Set, but it takes away the uniqueness of Saige's ring. I think these rings look cheap and plastic though, so Saige's is a lot nicer. Plus, I can make my own nicer rings for my dolls.

I don't like the new pets. I think they ruined them, they looks like stuffed animals now. And the prices- $28? Really?

I like that they finally came out with collars and leashes. The themed sets (in case you didn't notice, each set matches a certain bed) are cute.

See? The leash matches this pet bed. (The flower set is my favorite, that's why I picked it.) ;) I really like the pet beds, they're very cute. Surprisingly they're less money than the pets.

This Seaside Tote Set is adorable, it would be great in Kanani's collection, don't you think? It's so pretty, and I'd really love to get it. Kanani would love it!

This Beach Chair Set is wonderful too! I love the summery, Hawaiian colors. I'd really like to get this, and again, Kanani would love it. :)

I hope you enjoyed Part 2! Stay tuned for Part 3 tomorrow.

What is your favorite item? Do you agree with what I said? Tell me below in the comments. :)

P.S. Happy 4th of July! I hope you have a safe and happy day! ;)

New AG Items and My Opinion: Part 1

As you probably know, AG just released a bunch of new items. Of course, being the very, very opinionated person I am, I just had to do a post with my opinions of these sets. Now enough chatting, let's get into this post!

First up, we've got this beautiful new doll, MAG #61. I love this doll, and even though she looks a lot like Saige, she's very unique. She'd be good for anyone who wanted Saige, but didn't get her when she was still available. Now, you may be wondering if I'll be purchasing her. No. This is because she has the same wig style as Liz (#55). I may purchase her in the future, but I'd like to get some more variety in my collection before I start purchasing similar dolls.

I think Isabelle's Sparkle Outfit is very cute and pretty, but does she really need another dance outfit in her collection?

I love this Coconut Cutie Outfit! I think it's a very cute combination, and great for mix-and-match.i especially like the skirt, it can be worn for a casual or a formal occasion.

Okay... the Starry Hoodie Outfit... I don't like this at all. It doesn't match one bit, and the shirt looks very tacky. Maybe I'd like it if it was a different color, but it isn't so therefore, I don't like this.

NO! NO! NO! The School Stripes Outfit is not nice at all! Too many stripes, and you just don't wear sneakers with a dress. AG needs some better fashion sense for this one.

Eh... I kind of have mixed feelings about this Bright Stripes Outfit. It's cute and all, but not special enough for me to buy it. Also, it's not something anyone my age would wear these days.

Now this outfit- I like it a lot! It's the Petals and Plaid PJs. I love the design and colors. Also, the off-the-shoulder effect is adorable, with the fake tank top/cami underneath. I think the shirt doesn't have to just be pajamas either, they could be a normal shirt, and that would be adorable.

The 2-in-1 Cheer Gear is cute, I guess. I like how it has the tight long-sleeved shirt and the tight shorts, I think it's very different. But the dress thing is pretty much the same as the other cheerleading set, but it's just another color. I might get this for Liz, we'll see.

This Skateboarding Set is okay. I liked the other one a lot better, though. I mean, what girl wears a dress to go skateboarding? AG needs to realize that there are tomboys out there, too.

Now this Karate Class Set- this is cute. This is something unique from AG, finally. I like it, but Our Generation sells one like this for a fraction of the cost.

Oh, this Sparkly Camp Outfit is adorable! I love this outfit, I'd really like to get it. The off-the-shoulder effect is adorable, and it's not very childish, either. I'm not crazy about the orange and purple together, but I can get past that.

Aww, this Bee Myself Outfit is so cute! I can't get over the cuteness factor of this. It may be a little childish, but WHO CARES! Ahhh it's so cute!

This Sunny Isle Outfit is so cute and modern, I'd love to get this. The shorts especially scream "SUMMER!" and the shirt matches perfectly. And the hair flower is the perfect touch.

I hope you enjoyed reading my opinions about these outfits. Stay tuned for Part 2 tomorrow!

Do you like these outfits? Which one is your favorite? Do you disagree with anything I said? Tell me below in the comments!

Another Update on Isabelle!

I found these pictures on a post that was on this blog. They're of Isabelle's collection!

I'm really not sure if I like her collection. From what I see here, I don't like it so far. That's too bad, because I really planned on getting her.
But, that doesn't really matter, does it? As long as I like the actual doll, I can still get her. I don't have to get any outfits. I will get a ballet outfit for her, of course.
Also, ( I really hate this) the prices of dolls are going up. $120! Outrageous! $10 more that they are now! I seriously don't want to spend this much on dolls, but if I really want a new doll, I guess I'll have to.

Update on Isabelle

Wow, it's getting really close to Christmas isn't it? Only 3 days left! I can't wait!!!

Now, many of you have probably seen some of this. It's everything we know about Isabelle so far. Let's get started, shall we?

First, we now know what Isabelle completely looks like when she comes to you.
Isn't she beautiful? I know I'm going to get her. In this picture, you can see her accessories. From what we know, they are a hair clip, black jacket, sparkly gold purse, and some I.D. cards

We also know about her books. There are three- Isabelle, Designs by Isabelle, and To the Stars, Isabelle. They are all by Laurence Yep. (Just saying- I'm not a fan of Laurence Yep's books...)

Dolly Dorm Diaries got Isabelle somehow to check her out. Dolly Dorm Diaries was not her forever home, she sold Isabelle on Ebay. You can see the listing here. She is already sold.

I hope you enjoyed this little update on Isabelle. Will you be getting her? I hope I will!

Insider Look at Saige!

So, my sister's friend came over yesterday for a playdate. She just celebrated her birthday recently and she got Saige! She brought her and her outfits when she came over and she let me use them and take pictures, all that stuff. Here are the pictures and what I thought of the outfits and the doll herself!

Saige is very pretty! Her eyes are just as blue as they are on the website. They are very bright and beautiful.

I took Saige's braid out (it wasn't her original braid) and did her hair. My sister's friend didn't know that you could do this with Saige's hair, so I showed her. I would recommend spraying her hair with water before you brush it, though, it can get frizzy and had lots of flyaways.

Here is the back. It's very curly! Also, it surprised me how red Saige's hair was. Her hair was also thicker than I thought it was.

Since my sister's friend got Saige's starter collection, she had Saige and her accessories, her sweater outfit, and her riding outfit and both hats. I put the sweater outfit on Liz (I've been wanting it since it came out!) and it looks very cute, don't you think? The sweater easily snags on things, though, so definitely don't brush her hair while she's wearing this outfit.

I put the riding outfit on Kanani and it looks very professional! Since Kanani does ride, I thought she could try it on.  The boots are SO cute, they even had little heels to help her grip the stirrup while riding! The only problem with this outfit was the belt- it didn't stay on very well. You could pull it trough the buckle, but the "buckle" didn't really buckle. Kanani is also wearing the parade hat in this picture. It is nice, but kind of bland.

Here she is wearing the riding helmet. It is very well made and cute, too. The chin strap is very nice, too- it is stretchy and has a buckle that works well.

Here is a side view of the riding helmet. It has a pretty design  on the side that is also textured. Very well made! Great job AG!

I also put the earrings on Liz. These are my favorite, I love how they dangle! They are also so long, I love them! the studs also came with the accessories, they are supposed to look like a turquoise stone.

These are the feather dangles. They are cute, too, but I like the other dangles better.

And here is the one and only ring made by AG! It is nice, but it is so small and easy to lose. (Actually, it was lost at our house but then I found it in my room. And no, I didn't try to steal it. Ha ha!)

So, how do you like Saige? Did this post help you? Comment below!

Happy Blogging,
Marisa

P.S. Look forward to an exciting and new post tomorrow!
